Keogh Named All-American

May 2007 -- Lacrosse player Stephen Keogh '07 was selected to US Lacrosse's All-American team. He was one of two lacrosse players in the Northern New England Lacrosse League to be named an All-American. Keogh, who is an attack, is the Brewster Bobcat’s all-time leading scorer with 205 points over two seasons.

"Stephen was one of the best lacrosse players in the country this year,” said head coach Bill Lee. “We were fortunate to have him play for Brewster for the past two years. He had the best stick skills I have ever seen, and he knows how to score goals.”

The day after his Brewster graduation on May 27, Keogh played in the Senior East/West All-Star Game at the Loomis Chafee School in Connecticut. He was named the Most Valuable Player of the game, scoring five goals.

Keogh, who is from Toronto, will attend Syracuse University. He is the second Brewster student to be named to the All-American team. In spring 2006, Tyler Collins, also from Toronto, became Brewster's first All-American lacrosse player. Collins now plays for Colgate University.
