| back | | Dance Instructor Ling in NorthEastern Ballet's The Nutcracker | | | | | Brewster dance instructor John Ling performs the leading male role in NorthEastern Ballet Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker, which opened December 3 and runs through December 11. Ling dances the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy’s Cavalier.
Ling trained at the Joffrey Ballet School and the New York Conservatory of Dance School of Classical Ballet.
He has performed professionally with The New York Dance Theatre, The Eglevsky Ballet, and The Lumiere Ballet among many others. Ling has performed principal and guest artist roles in The Nutcracker, La Corsaire Pas de Deux, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
In addition to teaching at Brewster, he teaches ballet and jazz with Edra Toth’s Academy of Dance and Music, NorthEastern Ballet Theatre.
Remaining performances are December 10 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and December 11 at 2 p.m. at Prospect Mountain High School in Alton. Tickets. | | back | |
